Paul McMullan

Senior Project Manager / Portfolio Manager, University of the Arts – London

Aude Charillon

Paul is an experienced technology change leader with a background in delivering CRM systems for over 10 years.  He has implemented MS Dynamics, Salesforce, SAP and many other technology change projects. He has worked in the private/public sector, at Shelter, the Imperial War Museum and now currently at The University of the Arts.  He’s also am a Datakind volunteer with a keen interest in data science, open data, the future of digital, AI, art, photography, philosophy and tech for good.

He is motivated by improving the world, working with tech in the not for profit sector and specifically as a data ambassador for Datakind.  He spent time in the private sector then two years working in international development charity funding and over five years in funding prior to becoming a qualified Business Analyst and Project Manager. He then moved on to my biggest career achievement at Shelter where he delivered CRM for its homelessness advice, helpline, support and legal services that provided more free time for the Shelter team to help more people.  He has since moved onto successfully delivering student systems and finance transformation at the University of the Arts.

He’s also had many failures in his career to date and believes that you learn more from failing projects.  He is open, loves learning and is well up for a debate about philosophy, politics, music (he ran a record label at one point), art, the future, travel, sociology, museums, comedy and VW Camper vans.
