Ian has been helping organisations to implement change and increase their capability for continuous improvement for more nearly 30 years. His early career was spent in manufacturing where h had roles in R&D, Training & Management Development, Marketing, Procurement and Production Planning. Prior to becoming a Consultant he was a Board-level manager who helped turn round an under-performing business. He is a member of the OR Society and a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
He has now helped more than 200 clients implement a wide range of approaches to manage change and actively engage staff in continuous performance improvement.
He is a member of the OR Society’s Pro Bono Steering Group.
Ian has been consulting in the Third Sector since 2004 and has also provided pro bono support to 20 different organisations. This work has included projects such as developing business plans, re-designing services and developing performance measurement systems. It has also included non-project support such as running training workshops, facilitating away-days and providing one-to-one coaching and mentoring to trustees, directors and staff.
